Honorary President

Tomoyuki Fujii

Executive Director, International University of Health and Welfare

On behalf of the organizing committee, I am delighted to welcome you to the joint meeting of the 4th Asia Congress on Reproductive Immunology (ACRI 2027), the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Immunology of Reproduction, and the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

It is a great honor to host distinguished researchers and clinicians from Asia and beyond at this international congress held in Japan.

Reproductive immunology and infectious diseases in obstetrics and gynecology are foundational fields supporting women's health and the next generation. We hope this meeting will be a valuable opportunity to generate new insights and foster collaboration.

We look forward to your active participation.

Greetings

Executive Committee Chair

Takeshi Nagamatsu

Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology, IUHW Narita Hospital

I am Takeshi Nagamatsu, serving as Executive Committee Chair of ACRI 2027.

This is a historic joint congress, bringing together for the first time three societies in reproductive immunology and infectious diseases in obstetrics and gynecology. During the meeting, in addition to dedicated sessions for each society, we will hold a joint symposium spanning all three societies to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue.

Under the theme "One Flow, Two Immune Faces," we will explore the dualities of maternal-fetal interaction and immune tolerance vs. infection as parts of a single continuous flow.

The program includes research presentations, Young Investigator initiatives, and ample networking opportunities with international participants. We warmly invite your submissions and participation.

Welcome

Conference President

Shihoko Komine-Aizawa

Professor and Chair, Division of Microbiology, Nihon University School of Medicine

I am Shihoko Komine-Aizawa, serving as the President of the 4th Asia Congress on Reproductive Immunology (ACRI 2027).

Reproductive immunology has recently entered a new era through integration with single-cell analysis, spatial omics, and AI, dramatically enhancing our resolution of the maternal-fetal immune dialogue. The theme of this meeting, "One Flow, Two Immune Faces," embodies our wish to redefine the seemingly opposing faces of reproduction and infection as a single continuous flow of immunology.

We are committed to creating dialogue that crosses boundaries — basic and clinical, young and senior, domestic and international — so that every participant takes home new perspectives and connections.

We look forward to welcoming you in Tokyo.
